Joe Bennett -Bass
Bass

Joe grew up in scruffy, beautiful eastern Ontario, on a farm where the pastures were slowly turning into forest. He loved the frogs, the fields and the trees and he hated the rigidity of school... and now he finds himself in his mid 30s doing a PhD in ecology. He has been fortunate enough to work and travel in many places -- experiences that have heightened his sense of life’s fragility and strengthened his political convictions. In his early 20s, Joe fell in love with the instrument that can shake the earth with four strings. With his basslines, he tries to channel some of the tones and the subtle anger of the great funk, soul and reggae pioneers.

When Rika passes on he wants to be buried 6ft under Joe's bass-lines...
