8:00pm: Vancouver City Limits Music & Arts Festival set to rock the City

Welcome to the beginning of a beautiful relationship!  Vancouver City Limits aims to bring our community together with Vancouver's musicians and artists in an intimate festival setting.  Every Monday Night since May, VCL has been presenting three emerging singer/songwriters, duos and bands on the Beaumont Stage for two hours of original music.  Now we are taking the best of our weekly series so far and presenting them to the city as part of our first annual festival.  Featuring over fifteen of the city's best musicians and bands, the music at VCL Fest will be performed non-stop as we alternate acts between our covered outdoor stage and our cozy indoor theatre.  Musical genres run the gamut from the African Soukous flavored rock of Adrian Glinn through the soul styling of Téa and on to the reggae folk of Warless.  As the musicians rip it up on the two stages, some of Vancouver's finest artists will be painting giant graffitti murals on the walls of the Beaumont.  Artists and artisans of all stripes will be on hand displaying their craft; whether it be abstract paintings, delicate jewelry, blown glass, or even playful handmade lingerie.  In addition to the more than thirty in-house artists of the Beaumont, there will be kiosks set-up of artists from across the city.
